Comprehensive call records
A complete log of all the calls to your number is available as soon as they have finished. This is a valuable tool for monitoring the performance of your circuit, addressing customer complaints, and ensuring ongoing good service.
Most Groups use the optional Call Recording service included free which allows you to check a job request if there is any problem.
Customer management through Repeat Calls
If a customer who has made a booking with a specific operator or driver calls again within a set period (by default 30 minutes, but this can be changed) then the service recognises the number and puts the call through to the same person as before, on the assumption that the customer wishes to cancel or re-schedule a pick-up.
For local organisations such as Hotels, Care Homes, Restaurants, Pubs and Hairdressers that may genuinely need to order several taxis in quick succession, there is a Repeat Call Exception list, and calls from those numbers will always be put through to the next available operator or driver.
Protection against unwanted customers
If you enter the number of an unwanted customer in your Barred Numbers list, when they call they will always hear a recorded message: “I’m sorry but there are no drivers available.” Once you have barred a customer you will not get or be charged for any future calls from their number.
Management of your VIP customers
You can create VIP Customers and allocate a VIP response number (or numbers) which will still receive calls from them if there are no regular drivers on duty. This ensures you never miss a VIP Customer call as long as you have someone on duty to take VIP calls only.
